The ceiling fixtures in our homes are arguably the most important ones, as they are typically used the most frequently and serve as the greatest light source in a room. However, the variety of lighting fixtures for ceilings seems to be unlimited. These pieces are available in all types of shapes, colors, and sizes, providing you with an array of options.

As when making any choices about decor in your home, you should first acquaint yourself with the variety of designs that are available. In the realm of ceiling fixtures, several types exist:

Semi-Flush: Varying slightly from the flush mount ceiling fixtures, these fixtures are nearly, but not completely, flush with the ceiling.

Wall Sconce: A sconce serves as a decorated object that holds either candles or electric lights.
